TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

Each prospective sixth former (present and new girls) will be given information about post-16 travel arrangements at the end of Year 11. All enquiries about transport services to the school should either be made to the school office or to the transport department at Warwick.

• Most students who live in surrounding villages use private buses and coaches hired for school transport purposes. Such transport systems run a circuit which serves other educational institutions in the area.

• Other areas of the catchment area are served by Midland Red public service buses. All buses come into the turning circle area of the second entrance to the school, at the beginning and end of the day.

• Students coming on bicycles are requested to use the school entrance opposite Quineys Road and wheel the bicycle across the path in front of the Manor, before continuing on to the bicycle sheds, behind the Dining Room. This is in the interest of safety.

• Some students travel in their own cars. We regret that there is no parking on site for students. Students will need to allow time to park away from school in a safe place and walk back onto site. Students should remember to be considerate when parking and always adhere to the Highway Code and other legal requirements.

Extra-curricular activities or a school trip lasting longer that the normal school day may mean that a girl is unable to return home by her usual means of transport. It is her responsibility to make alternative arrangements.
