50th ANNIVERSARY EVENTS
50th Anniversary Jubilee 2008-2009.

We had a wonderful time at our first reunion weekend in October and were delighted to see so many of you again. Thank you to all of you for making the effort to come, especially to those who travelled from Canada, Australia and France and a particularly warm thank you to all those who sent photographs and other memories of school. We were delighted that some of you even wore your school blazers. We will shortly be including photographs and a report of the events on the website. We would be very pleased if you would email to us any photos you have of the October event that could be suitable for inclusion in our first Alumnae publication. We would also like to say a huge thank you for all the good wishes that we have received which has made it such worthwhile project. We are really looking forward to our next reunion.

Our next reunion will be on:

Saturday 21st February for students who left Shottery between 1986-2008
Open Day, 10.00am-3.00pm on school site.
Former students and their families are welcome.

An opportunity to renew old friendships, exchange gossip and share memories of your Shottery Days. It will be possible to visit the Manor, your old classrooms and new developments including Music, MFL and Science areas. There will be an address by the two most recent Headteachers: Ms Kate Barnett (2005 - Present) and Mr Roger Stanbridge (1991-2005). Tea, coffee and cake will be available to purchase during the day.

Saturday will culminate in a very special event:

Jubilee Reunion Anniversary Dinner

The Holiday Inn, Bridgefoot, Stratford upon Avon 7.00/7.30pm for 8.00pm.

This is a very special occasion to which you may bring guests, partners and friends including friends from your schooldays. Those booking a table for 10 will receive a discount.

After a welcome drink, accompanied by live music, dinner will be served. A photographer will be present to take photos of the glittering occasion. Following a brief after-dinner address there will be dancing to music from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s. Those not wishing to dance can spend the rest of the evening in the bar and Riverside Lounge area with old friends.

Cost of the reunion dinner is £40 per person and £38 per person if you are booking a table of 10.
